# membo.app pricing

membo.app has no subscription and no setup fee. The club only pays when it collects a membership fee online.

## The principle

Two fee lines, separate and clearly shown on every payment:

- **membo.app platform fee: 2.5% of the amount collected.** That is our revenue.
- **Payment provider fees, Stripe, billed at cost**, depending on the club's country and the payment method. As a guide, around 2.9% + 0.30 per transaction in Switzerland, less for European cards in the European Union. The exact rate is the one on Stripe's pricing page for the club's country.

The payment methods offered depend on the club's country: card, Apple Pay, Google Pay, TWINT in Switzerland, and the local methods enabled by Stripe (list by country at [stripe.com/payment-methods](https://stripe.com/payment-methods)). Each method has its own Stripe rate, passed on at cost.

Everything else is included: Apple Wallet and Google Wallet cards, public page, events, emails, exports, team access, six languages.

## Example

A 50 CHF fee collected in Switzerland by card: 1.25 CHF platform fee, about 1.75 CHF payment fees, the club receives about 47 CHF. The exact breakdown appears in the dashboard, transaction by transaction.

## What is free

- Creating a club and setting up its page, tiers and card.
- Importing existing members and sending them their card.
- Free memberships and tiers at 0.
- Members added manually by the club, for instance those who pay cash.
- Free events.

## Who pays the fees

The club chooses: it absorbs them (recommended, the displayed fee is the fee paid), or adds them to the price paid by the member.

## Payouts

Money is collected on the club's Stripe account and paid to its bank account on Stripe's schedule, usually within a few days. membo.app never holds the club's funds.
